I'd like to collaborate with Lauderdale descendants of John Threet, b. Abt. 1790 in Chesterfield County, SC and d. 1850 in Lauderdale County, AL. John married Sarah Shelby, daughter of Reese Shelby. Their son John Perry married Mary Waldrop, daughter of William Waldrop. Their son Thomas Weakley married Mary Ann Elizabeth Gray (the couple in the photo), daughter of George Simpson Gray and Nancy Caroline Darby. Florence Crow Threet, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Ann, was my grandmother.
